The Medieval Use of Yorkshire's Rivers

A Dayschool held at the Yorkshire Archaeological Society,

Medieval communications are usually associated with roads. This
dayschool will explore the wealth of evidence for the varied and
intensive use of inland rivers, canals and the many associated
features found along their banks.

The cost of the day is £10 per person (including drinks). While
there are plenty of places to eat in the centre of Leeds (15 mins
on foot), it is advisable to bring a packed lunch to eat at the YAS,
where there will be drinks available. Booking is essential.
